Main Light East Lights Up Lotus’s Summer 2025 Tour

Main Light East has once again teamed up with a Philadelphia-based jam band Lotus to deliver stunning lighting experience on the band’s summer 2025 tour. Lotus, known for their eclectic “jamtronica” sound blending electronic dance grooves with improvisational rock, has always placed a high value on immersive lighting at their shows.
This season’s concerts were no exception, as Lighting Designer Scott Huston (Lotus’s LD since 2004) worked closely with Main Light to transform each venue into a dynamic, music-synchronized light show. The collaboration between Lotus and Main Light is nothing new; in fact, Main Light has been the band’s go-to lighting provider for well over a decade, dating back to early 2010. This partnership was on full display during Lotus’s recent run of summer shows, where vibrant visuals and cutting-edge gear elevated the live Lotus experience.

Equipment Package (Touring Floor Rig)
The lighting rig for these shows was designed as a scalable package, adaptable to each venue’s size while still delivering the punch needed for festival-level impact. Some equipment highlights included:

- Robe Spikie LED beam/wash fixtures for fast, colorful effects
- Chauvet Color Strike M hybrid strobe/washes adding bold audience eye‑candy
- Smoke Factory Tour Hazer II units for consistent beam definition
- Power distribution and cabling pre‑prepped for quick load‑ins

Looking Ahead
The partnership continues later this summer with two additional floor‑package rentals:
- Summer Dance Festival: Aug 28‑31, 2025 at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park (Garrettsville, OH)
- Richmond, VA: Aug 9, 2025, on Brown’s Island
These dates will see the same trusted Main Light rig traveling with Lotus as the band closes out its 2025 run.
