Main Light is marking five years since Michael Cannon, the original owner and founder of 4Wall Entertainment, acquired the assets and operations of Main Light Industries, Inc. on March 1, 2021. At the time, the live events industry was still emerging from the COVID pandemic, but Main Light had what mattered most: a trusted name, an experienced team, a clear dry-hire model, and a strong reputation among production companies and rental houses.

Since the acquisition, Main Light has moved with purpose, investing in inventory, strengthening operations, expanding its reach, and staying focused on the dry-hire model that has long defined its place in the industry. In the first year alone, Main Light has increased inventory by more than 500%, positioning the company to meet returning demand with greater availability and responsiveness. The company also built a strong used-sales model, offering pre-owned inventory sourced directly from its own rental fleet (never brokered equipment) giving clients confidence in gear that is Main Light-owned, carefully maintained, and meticulously tested.

That growth became part of a broader national strategy. Main Light West opened in Las Vegas on August 23, 2021. On February 20, 2023, the company opened Main Light Tri-State in Teterboro, New Jersey, expanding Main Light’s national presence across Wilmington, DE; Teterboro, NJ; and Las Vegas, NV.
