Main Light East Supports the Washington Ballet’s ALICE (in wonderland) at Capital One Hall

Main Light East was proud to support The Washington Ballet’s enchanting spring production of ALICE (in wonderland), staged at Capital One Hall just outside Washington, D.C. The production, which ran April 24–27, brought Lewis Carroll’s whimsical world to life through expressive choreography, immersive design, and a vibrant lighting package delivered in part by Main Light.
The rig features a powerful lineup of fixtures including High End Systems Halcyon Titaniums, ETC Lustr 3s, and Chroma-Q Color Force II 72s, all working in concert to deliver rich color washes, punchy beams, and detailed scenic highlights. Supporting the show’s technical infrastructure were Chainmaster motors, Motion Labs distros, and Tyler GT truss, ensuring smooth and efficient rigging and power solution throughout the production process.
“A production like ALICE (in wonderland) simply wouldn’t have been possible without the support of Main Light East.” said a member of the production team. “Their lighting and rigging solutions were essential to executing a fast-paced load-in and performance schedule with ease. The result was a visually stunning blend of classical ballet and contemporary stagecraft: perfectly suited to the surreal, ever-shifting world of Alice.
