The RoboSpot™ Follow Spot system is a cutting-edge device that allows follow spot operators to control up to 12 fixtures simultaneously without the need to physically place personnel at the top of venues. With this system, operators can remotely control fixtures from any location within the venue, ensuring the safety of personnel while reducing set-up times and operating costs.
The heart of the system is the RoboSpot Base Station, which features a large 15.6-inch HD touch screen that provides the operator with a "first-person" viewpoint of the performance. The operator can control a full range of hand controls for operating the fixtures, including pan, tilt, intensity, focus, faders, and more. The screen receives the live video feed from the RoboSpot MotionCamera or from the fixture-mounted RoboSpot camera, and the operator's commands are instantly transferred to the luminaires via DMX control.
The Base Station is highly customizable, with extra controls available through the touch screen display, four programmable jog-wheels, and 10 fully configurable buttons. The system is compatible with a range of fixtures, including the ROBE BMFL Spot, Blade, WashBeam and FollowSpot, DL4S, DL7S, MegaPointe, and Pointe.
The RoboSpot Base Station is easy to install and use, and it comes with a user manual, tripod, adaptor, spigot, and power cord, including powerCON TRUE1 In connector.
