Main Light, LLC announces the appointment of Matt Durham as Operations Manager for Main Light South in Nashville. Reporting to Main Light CEO Randy Mullican, Durham will step into the role overseeing the operations of the growing Nashville location for the preeminent dry hire company.
Mullican notes, “Matt brings a great depth of field and road experience to the role of Operations Manager. He brings in both management experience as well as the perspective of end-users. This will allow Main Light, as a dry hire rental operation, to continue to build-on upon our successful business model. His background and his expertise are a great addition to our team here at Main Light. We all welcome Matt to Main Light.”Working since 2013 in Nashville as a freelance Production Manager and with extensive experience in the areas of audio, lighting, video, production and tour management, Durham is well suited to his new role. In addition to freelance work, Durham was the AV Event Coordinator at Nashville’s Trevecca Nazarene University. He also handled audio at several clubs in Atlanta, GA and did grip work within the Georgia film industry. His previous production work has given him a wide scope of the various market segments of the live entertainment industry that Main Light supports every day. “I love that as a company, Main Light moves very quickly and is very agile,” Durham notes. “They’ve got a good forward-thinking mindset and they’re not afraid to invest, both in the company, and the employees.
