$65,000 to $75,000 based on experience

We are looking for an Inside Rental/Sales Support team member to assist Main Light’s senior rental sales team while supporting new and existing customers. This position is responsible for the timely execution of rental orders, customer requests, quotes, contracts, and related sales support while following company standards and procedures.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Act as in-office support for National VP of National Senior Business Development including tracking calendar and inbox.
  • Responding to customer requests for quotes in a timely manner via phone, email, and chat.
  • Writing rental orders for rental sales.
  • Quoting approved pricing, preparing contracts, and assisting customers with required paperwork.
  • Closing rental orders once equipment has been delivered to the customer or returned to the warehouse.
  • Assisting customers with disputes or equipment-related issues.
  • Utilizing creativity to propose solutions based on customer needs and available inventory.
  • Building a strong knowledge of Main Light’s inventory and customer base.
  • Performing any other job-related duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

  • 1–3 years of previous entertainment industry sales experience preferred, specifically in the Eastern region of the United States.
  • Understanding and knowledge of theatrical lighting, staging, rigging, and entertainment equipment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of an inside sales environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism and staying calm under pressure.
  • Must be responsible, self-motivated, personable, and well organized.
  • Ability to effectively handle stressful situations and meet deadlines and goals.
  • Strong PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and support senior revenue team members.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Ensuring all equipment is maintained in rental-ready condition.
  • Staging rental and used sales orders within the moving lights department.
  • Identifying damaged or malfunctioning equipment and creating repair orders as needed.
  • Performing routine cleaning and maintenance to keep the department organized and efficient.
  • Testing and inspecting equipment before it returns to rental inventory.
  • Assisting other departments as needed.

What We Are Looking For

  • Comprehensive knowledge of professional moving-light technology, including fixture operation, DMX/RDM, lighting control systems, and networking.
  • Familiarity with major entertainment lighting manufacturers and rental-industry equipment standards.
  • Strong understanding of equipment reliability, quality control, and safe handling practices.
  • Experience with grandMA3 software preferred.

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to support Main Light East’s day-to-day warehouse operations. This position assists various departments with equipment preparation and maintenance, as well as pulling equipment for customer orders. Responsibilities include prepping, cleaning, inspecting, testing, and returning equipment to rental-ready condition, with assignments based on current workflow needs.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Fulfilling orders and used sales requests for the cable department.
  • Supporting dock operations by assisting with loading and unloading trucks.
  • Testing returned LEDs and electronic components to ensure proper functionality.
  • Performing general repair and maintenance on coils, including cleaning, updating, and inspecting customer orders before and after return.
  • Cleaning unit cases, updating records, creating test tags, and returning gear to proper storage locations.
  • Performing daily cleaning tasks to maintain an organized and efficient department.
  • Managing the check-in and check-out process for orders.
  • Assembling and disassembling equipment packages as needed.
  • Providing assistance to other departments as required.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in the entertainment lighting industry or with military equipment is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning, prepping, and testing theatrical lighting and entertainment equipment.
